Oishii! Japanese Hibachi & Sushi

This place has become my favorite hibachi teriyaki place. I have not tried their sushi but it looks good. They are always playing a random movie on their TV in dinning room. They also have an assortment of Japanese treats for purchase. During peak hours it seems to be always busy.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I tried the volcano roll. Amazing. Simply amazing. I will definitely recommend this to all my relatives and friends and I can’t wait for the next time I come here!

Awesome little hidden gem. Fresh quality Hibachi and sushi. The sushi here is as good as any in the area including the restaurant in Lynchburg that everyone raves about. (You know which one.) I was admittedly surprised! They even have a white meat Hibachi Chicken option!

Oishii has the best Hibachi chicken in town, its made to order and the rice is delicious! They have a very friendly staff, excellent sushi, and they are very clean. I tried the Chicken and Fillet combo and was not disappointed! The pricing is great for the quality and portions and the dinning are is great for eating out with a group or with a few friends.

This is the #1 restaurant requested by my kids. My kids aren't even adventurous eaters, but their favorite thing to order is the Rainbow Roll. One of few "fast food hibachi" places in town that also offer sushi, and quality raw fish at that. I've lived in Japan and can tell when raw fish is no longer "sushi-grade". That hasn't been a concern when I go here. The server is always happy to see us and I feel like she gives us VIP treatment. Her daughter is so sweet to my kids, making them balloon animals, which they are happy to receive.
