Bodo's Bagels

Delicious straightforward bagels and sandwiches! ( Bagels have toppings on both sides like a good bagel should) The deli-egg is like a mini omelette.

Best Bagels in C'ville (Maybe the World). I have been eating at Bodo's for many years, and I work downtown so the Bodo's on Preston Ave is close enough to work to eat there conveniently. The orders are always fresh and correct. They have a wide variety of bagels, cream cheeses, and condiments/toppings. If you want an everything bagel with sausage, egg, & cheddar, or a plain bagel with bacon, egg, & provolone, or a salt bagel with jalapeno & lime cream cheese (it's actually really good), they have it all. And even at rush hour breakfast time when there are 40 people in line you can be in and out in less than 10 minutes. If you haven't tried a bagel from Bodo's Bagels you must stop by you next trip to Charlottesville.

A local favorite! Love how warm and fresh their bagels are. Can't go wrong here, I've tried their lox, breakfast sandwiches, plain bagels--all good! As a note, they do not toast your bagels, but they do serve it to you warm.

I lived for four years in New York, and these bagels are better than 95% of the shops there. The one thing they lack is some of the variety you would find in other places, like a lack of any kind of egg bagel, and the only sweet bagel they have is cinnamon raisin.

But I absolutely adore this place. Even when they are super busy the wait is seldom very long, the food is of great quality, and a great price. There is a reason that Bodo's has become a local icon, and I'll be going here for decades to come.

Fist local place is always a hit the bagels are fantastic the prices are very reasonable and the service is fast even though it has a crazy long line. Highly recommend coming here anytime. If the line seems long don't worry it goes very very quick usually there are lots of college students there even in the summer
