Great food, great service.
From the refreshing apple and fennel salad, through the pan Tomate (so good) and to beef tartar and the chicken, fine food,great drinks too - you have to appreciate a good negroni and house coctails are good as well.
Will def come back!

I make the trip out to Charlottesville about twice a year, and every time Little Star is on a very short list of places that I HAVE to visit. This is quite simply my favorite restaurant on earth.

Between locally sourced ingredients and recipes that have been curated and developed by a truly talented team, there are no bad options here. With new items regularly being rotated in, I have never had the same meal twice when visiting.

The atmosphere is unpretentious, making it easy to feel comfortable and at home even when engaging in true fine dining.

Whether you are just looking for drinks and dinner, or if you have a sweet tooth that can't be sated, Little Star will treat you right and send you home taken care of.

Hidden Gem.... Please do not let this secret out.... Delicious food with such a great presentation, you eat with your eyes first and then you are in food coma.... Excellent food with Impeccable service... We ate it all, The Beef Carpaccio is out of the world, The potatoes and the Pork Spare Ribs had the tang but mouth watering and falling off the bone, the beef was .mmmm yummy... The tuna, just done right. What more can you ask of a restaurant... They are an hour a away for me but worth the drive, Delicious food, potent but tasty Sangria and the food is Michelin star... Do not tell your friends... tables are not easy to get...

Dishes are on par with Michelin style, complex flavors, excellent taste that makes you fall in love with a dish you may have not liked before. Try different things, share, indulge, enjoy, staff is friendly and charming. As a New Yorker, could not give any higher recommendation! Please visit and thank me later!

I enjoyed the ribs and beets but the scallops were unimpressive and the two other dishes we ordered, the potatoes and the peppers, were too spicy (hot). The peppers in particular were so spicy even my husband couldn't eat them so we sent them back without being charged.
Friendly wait staff so I recommend to diners who love spicy food.
