MOD Pizza

Staff was very friendly and the pizza was really good. Love the fast-casual take on pizza and was surprised by the wide variety of toppings. I did the build-your-own pizza and the price seemed very reasonable given the ability to add as many toppings as you'd like! Will definitely be back.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The pizzas was fantastic with the selection of toppings and the finishing drizzle. Very good.
We usually carry out but last night we ate there and the crust was even better straight from the oven. Highly recommended!

A newer pizza place in Charlottesville, Mod Pizza was not up to the hype. The ingredients are not freshly sourced. You can tell most were out of cans or bags & the base marinara had lots of pepper...to the point it detracted from the overall pizza. It did not blend well.

Patronized by mostly University students & their families (around graduation), it was quite noisy, cafeteria noisy.

Service was good. The personnel seemed tired, which is understandable during this time of year.

I usually get the 11 inch build your own. Pretty good crust if you like crispy. Sauce is a little rich. Just don't do too many toppings or they won't get cooked. I do 3 or 4 max.

The pizza was terrific, I was surprised and impressed with the light thin crust... Topping choices allowed for traditional options and an almost unlimited number of unique made-to-order pies. The salad was delicious and fresh. The three young people building the pizzas (and salads) were very efficient and effective if a bit detached. The cashier and the pizza baker were both engaging, professional and delightful. The tables were comfortable and the dining space was comfortable and clean. Overall a very good experience.
