Bergey's Breadbasket

Tons of fluffy animals to pet, clean public rest room, yummy breads and home made ice cream. They even had cantaloupe ice cream the last time I was there. They are so amazing, give them a donation for their petting zoo so they can keep providing fluffy animals for us to pet!

Very friendly family run. Always met with a smile. Best sandwiches around with a choice of homemade rolls. Great ice cream. Bergey's Breadbasket has a next door neighbor feel to it as soon as you walk in the door. One visit and you'll definitely want to come back. Great place for the kids too, with their friendly petting zoo of farm animals right out back. Children and adults love this place.

Words can't even describe how great this place is. My girlfriend took me her and I insist on going back every time we are in the area. It is family owned and community oriented. The homemade ice cream is to die for and they have, made from scratch, chicken pot pies. Everything I have tried there is great. They also have a free petting zoo for families to see. Amazing place that I hope never fades with time. Wish I had such a place back in my home town.

We love Bergey's! We've been coming here for over 15 years, and though it has changed a lot, quality is still top notch. Local everything, because all of their products come fresh from the farm. Quality ice cream and cinnamon rolls. Their dill onion bread with smoked Amish cheddar cheese and turkey meat is to die for. Truly delicious!

Bergey's is the place to go when you want to feel welcomed. It is such a wonderful gem, to go out there, free of charge, and allow your children to experience the sights of many farm animals and their babies. While there are precious regulars you'll grown fond of visiting, there are also new additions to see from time to time. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, and rich, but just the right amount. I have never tasted a more satisfying chocolate shake and sometimes take the ride out there just for that guilty pleasure! The food and pastries are all fresh...the pies are scrumptious. Minimal ingredients are used and everything tastes like something prepared with love. We are so thankful for this place and hope they continue to welcome us onto their property, into the animal's lives and of course, smiling at the ice cream counter.
