Friendly family oriented. Excellent food and staff is delightful.
Good food. Friendly waitresses. Reasonable prices. Will go and eat there again.
We go there 3-4 times a month. All the times we been were breakfast and it was very pleasant. I've not had lunch or dinner there although the word I get when l hear regulars talking is it's all very good. Nice and clean and reminds me of the mom and pop dinners from down south growing up. $cheap!
A Little Slice of Local.
The food was good, solid diner fare. There are by a few creative choices on the menu if you want something other than a couple scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy. The portions are what you would expect (though I should point out the bowl of oatmeal would easily feed two people). Similarly, the prices track along with any other diner (though definitely cheaper than the fancier/trendier joints).
The Saturday morning I visited, the place was packed and I would be willing to bet that most everyone there was a regular (which suggests that they are consistently good and reasonably priced).
If you're in neighborhood often give it a shot - it might become your go-to breakfast joint. If you want to grab a bite at an authentic local diner your can't do much better
The food was good and the staff was friendly, but the whole place smells like a big smoke pit. We have gone here twice, about a month apart, and it was the same experience. You leave smelling like a cigarette. We had to go home and change before church but I can still smell it in my hair. My son's carseat smells like it as well. It's too bad because they are very nice, but we will not be returning to this diner.
