(August 11, 2019, 12:53 pm)My 3 year old asked for hibachi for her birthday on Aug 9th, and of COURSE we had to come to Japan Samurai! This is the perfect place for a birthday - all three of my kids ask to come here for their birthdays since we moved to VA. And, the desert fruit platter they have for birthdays is a great way to be healthy instead of having a cake, if you roll that way.
The chefs are all wonderful with children, the banter is top notch, and the food is great. If you have kids who aren't that excited by hibachi, they have chicken nuggets and fries available. The owners are very lovely, and kept giving my kids high fives. Beyond the hibachi, the sushi bar is also awesome. Great price for the food, too.
