L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Real Hawaiian plate lunch! They get spam musubi, saimin and dole whip too! Go grinds already!

I ate at this restaurant for the first time today and the food was delicious. I was so impressed. It was clean and the staff was delightful. This may become one of my regular go to spots.

Very friendly service. Food was top quality for it being my second time ever trying it. During this time of COVID also, they do a great job of following social distancing guidelines and keeping maximum capacity. Would recommend to anyone who wants to try something new.

West coast flavors are finally here! I've lived in California for years and moving to east coast, L&L is one of those restaurants I miss. There are Hawaiian restaurants in the area but L&L holds nostalgia to me. I got a small short rib plate and it was as AWESOME as I remembered it. The meat was tender, and the flavor kept me wanting more. Eating the macaroni salad brought me back to a happier time. It was smooth, subtle and not over powering, just the way it should be. Props to the girl that help me because she stuck with typical hawaiian greetings, Mahalo! I'm a foodie so taking a 2 hour trip to eat L&L on the east coast is well worth it.

Initial impression: when I first walked I was impressed by the overall vibe with them playing tropical music and comfy dinning area. I was initially hesitant on what to order but the manager was super nice and walked my party through the menu and offered suggestions.

Food: I got chicken katsu curry with a dole whip after. The rice was nice a fluffy and paired well with the curry. The chicken was breaded nicely with a flavorful crunch. I got the curry on the side and would dip it. Finally, I am not a macaroni salad guy but theirs was amazing and regret not getting more. The portions was very generous and well worth the money. Then the dole whip was freaking delicious and can't believe how low calorie it is.
