Sleep Inn & Suites Chesapeake - Portsmouth

Check-in person very friendly, helpful. He recommended a general direction to find good food that evening. My GPS in my van did not take us to your location. I happened to look to the left and saw it on the other side of the highway. GPS needs to have correct information. That was my only complaint.

I enjoyed the stay got there 2am. Check out was at 11am. Around 8am I went to the front desk and ask can me and my family have a a couple of hours over they granted it. The room was beautiful and clean the breakfast was good to. No complaints.

Davis at the front desk was superb. Anything we needed, he was on top of! Breakfast was good, eggs, sausage links, make your own waffles, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, boiled eggs, milk, toast, muffins, pastries, bagels, tea, and coffee. The pool was small, but nice, and the hot tub was hot enough to be worth soaking but not hot enough to burn my kids. The bathroom at the pool was gross, but I told Davis and he immediately told housekeeping. Our room was nice, lots of channels on the TV, beds were clean, no signs of bugs, and comfortable. The fridge was a good size, and the microwave worked great. Didn't try the coffee pot. The shower did let a lot of water on the floor and there wasn't a floor towel provided, but we made it work with the excess of hand towels we had. There was a lack of places to hang wet towels yet plenty of empty wall space, so maybe it's a renovation to come. The housekeeping needs some training though because around the faucets and handle in the shower had mildew, showing lack of detail cleaning. All in all, I'd book here again.

Stayed here with my husband over the weekend celebrating our first anniversary in the area and we both felt the hotel was great. Anything we needed was provided, the people were friendly, room was nice (we wanted to take the bed with us). Nothing in our room broken or dirty. The eggs at breakfast were awesome. Pool and hot tub there but we didn't get a chance to use. Had some stray cats on the property and I named a friendly one Marble Cake ????. Great weekend stay.
