Wasserhund Brewing Company

I came in on a random Thursday and there were maybe half a dozen other people in. Truth be told I didn’t even know about this location until I was driving down the street and I happened to see it, but I had a good experience at their VB location so I figured I’d stop after some X-mas shopping (yay for me). After about 17:30 (5:30 pm for those who don’t know military time), the place BLEW UP. Every seat in the place was full. The three women (Tara, Kayla, and Meghan) working behind the bar were busting their butts making sure everyone was well taken care of. Delivering beer, food, welcoming new guests, etc….they were all constantly on the go. The atmosphere was great and the beer equally awesome. Definitely worth the stop!

Went here for after dinner drinks. It's a nice establishment. The waitress was attentive without being over bearing. Nice beer selection that you can have by the pint or by flights. We also had catnip which was rolled pizza dough covered in butter, cinnamon b and sugar and came.with their signature cream cheese dipping sauce. 😋

First time going since they've opened up. The food was great and service was wonderful. We got 2 pizzas and the pretzel app. They also have beer here that isn't served at the Virginia Beach location which is an added bonus. Definitely recommend!

A very unique selection of pies on the menu. As well as a decent draft beer selection.

The beer pretzel was good; but they were out of the beer mustard, which is what really sets pretzels off for me. Probably would’ve ordered a different appetizer had they informed us of this prior to serving the pretzel.

We went for the Rottweiler Pizza. I’m a barbecue chicken and pineapples kind of guy. A lot of people are not that adventurous; but, to each his or her own. It was good. Not the best; but good enough to give another shot.

The only knock of a star comes from two things. First, the entrance is very awkward. You basically walk right into the dining area. There’s not really any indication of what to do, where to go, who to talk to. And it wasn’t just us; every group that came in after us appeared equally as confused and lost. Second, the service is really, really slow. Something that won’t be good for business long term if they’re hoping to lure in the lunch crowds from the adjacent office towers and office parks.
