Excellent southern style green vegetables and starches. Wonderful mashed potatoes, candied yams and very cheesy and well-seasoned mac and cheese. Tender string beans, collard greens, and cabbage. The only thing missing was the homemade cornbread or spoonbread. Large portions. Fish, crab cakes shrimp absolutely delicious. Chicken tenders were a hit for the six-year-old. Liver and onions so tender you did not have to chew it; smothered pork chops melted in your mouth. Next time we all call in an order to take out if it's too hot. Absolutely a feast.

First time to visit. The food was great I just can’t give it 5* not over the top still a solid 4* The service I give 3* the waitress was ok not extra friendly or attentive and also over heard the cook complaining and that should be kept behind closed doors. The speed I give a 4* not bad for home cooking. The cleanliness is a 4* good for an old building no major issues at all. And one more thing it is a little pricey 3* but the portions are 5* huge I’m a big eater and had to leave half of it. I will return it was overall a good experience and good food.
