“Food looked and tasted good. Nothing amazing. Prices were ok and a military discount is nice to receive. Server was nice, accurate, and quick. Floors were sticky, which is my pet peeve. I wouldn't drink anything coming from the bar. The odor from that area is repulsive and someone is bound to get sick. There is a horrible smell of bacteria festering. Gross. After a thorough cleaning, don't forget your grout and carpets, I may return.”

The service was very slow, even though the place was nowhere near packed, especially for a Friday (which I love btw) but the waitress was very nice. I enjoyed my meal. The last 3 times I have wanted to order take out, in the last 2 years, I have had to drive up there because no one will answer the phone. This past week I called 28 times in a 1/2 hour time frame. I ended up driving there to place the order and 2 servers came over to see if I was there for a pickup order. I said no but I’d like to place an order, both walking away and never returned. Finally a server came over and helped. She was so pleasant and stated it was her first day. While she was taking my order someone from the bar walked over with the phone in her hand. I said “so someone does answer the phone here?” After explaining to her that I had called 28 times in the last 1/2 hour and showed her she came back with “well I’m busy. I’m working the bar too!” However; she did give me 10% off my order so I was please with that. If you can tolerate the serves the food is really good.”

“My friend and I had the all you can eat buffet. Not really crowded on a Saturday night. I had to wait almost 10 minutes to get my drink. The salad bar was fresh and tasty. I had some fried cod and shrimp, no complaints. Sweet flavored vegetables and collard greens we're good. The small steak that comes with the meal was okay at best. We used a coupon and saved $1.00; the price for each meal was $12.99. Shoney's has a breakfast buffet, senior, and military discounts. I'm sure I will give this place another shot.”
