This is all about fish. While they have good American dishes (fried fish sandwich), it's the Japanese dishes that are the feature. The Fish bowl, the ramen, and many of the other Asian dishes are fantastic. This is a place where you want to try everything on the menu. It's Brandermill's best kept secret!
Have been here several times for lunch. We try something new every time and have not been disappointed yet. Great food and service. It's small and quaint and I highly recommend it.
Every time we eat here, we have an amazing food experience. Brought some friends for their first visit and they absolutely loved it. I enjoyed their spicy pork ramen and my hubby ordered the fresh catch of the day - Red Snapper with a delicious mango chutney. We finished off our meals by sharing a fried tempura ice cream. That was incredible and we plan on indulging each time we go back! Very small restaurant, looks like a hole-in-the-wall diner, but don't be fooled, every plate from apps and sushi to entrees and finally dessert, is packed with delicious flavors!
Seriously, been coming here a while now and love the food every time. Usually we just get apps and sushi rolls so we can't speak to the entrees too much, but, what we've had is delicious. Friendly service too!
Wonderful fresh food, expertly prepared. My wife (who's Japanese) loved the sushi and my fried fish sandwich was the bee's knees. I was a bit concerned when I first walked in because the decor is rather plain. However, the food more than made up for it. You should definitely check out this place. Not for the ambiance, but for the great seafood.
