Pretty good food. One of the top spots in the rva area. Service is hit or miss. Nice atmosphere.

Very good food at a reasonable price. Stay is friendly and they welcome you coming through the door. My take out order didn't take long and the food was fresh. Very good drink specials too bad I was on lunch ????. Awesome place for authentic food ????????

The service is quick and the people are super friendly. The booths can be a little small, but the food is amazing. Best cheese dip I've had at any Mexican restaurant. Great prices too!

The service and food was fantastic. Salsa was very tasty, with a good amount of cilantro and spice. Ordered steak tacos and fish tacos. Both came with rice and beans. All of the food was delicious. Seating was immediate on a Saturday evening, and staff was very attentive.

A friend invited us to try this restaurant instead of or usual Mexican restaurant. I was surprised to see a wait at the door in this mostly empty strip mall! It was worth the wait. The first indicator of a good Mexican restaurant is the salsa--Mr. Pepe's is excellent! Next, of course, the margarita.... Five stars! And of course dinner counts, too, and our party of seven enjoyed it all! My only critique is the food is generally more mildly seasoned than other Mexican I've had, but I'm certain that appeals to a wider audience. We'll be back for sure!
