Boathouse. I am allergic to all fish, however, since they have more offerings on the menu, I agreed. And boy am I glad that I did. We had a reservation at 6:00 but ran into a traffic tie up due to an accident. However, a quick call to the hostess and we were able to push the reservation back a bit. Although we ended up not needing it, since we arrived at The Boathouse a little after 6. We were immediately seated. My friend had a blackberry mojito which she said was absolutely delicious. My first serving was a watermelon salad. It was one of the most delicious salads I have ever tasted. It had watermelon, mozzarella cheese, red onions, and basil. I do not know what type of dressing was drizzled over the salad, but it elevated the taste to heaven. I would go back just for this dish alone. For the main course, I ordered grilled chicken with asparagus on top of cheese grits. And to finish off the meal I had the bread pudding with ice cream. Standing ovation to the chef. Every bite made my taste buds dance a happy jig. If you are ever in the Richmond area, do not hesitate to visit The Boathouse at Sunday Park. You will be glad that you did.

We attended a surprise birthday. The staff were excellent as was the food. We have been several times and they are consistently good!! Recommend.

Made reservations at sunset and was NOT disappointed. Delicious food all around - apps and entrees were on point. Drinks were well made, and the small batch flight was heaven! My only recommendation is to install some sort of fan on the deck - it was a scorcher!

My wife and I came here for a rehearsal dinner with family and it was a really good time. The views of the water were stunning and were an excellent backdrop for photos in our dress clothes. This is a great place for a date night or out with a small group of friends. The small plates they prepared for the buffet style dinner were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I would recommend this place for an event or an evening out.

A beautiful and spacious building with a large porch (and porch deck) that overlooks the lake. Their Sunday brunch is full of great deals, from the waffle and omelette bar, to the half pitchers of Bloody Mary's, to samplers of their famous roasted oysters. The service and ambiance were great on a sunny Summer day. We enjoyed sitting outside, watching the water, but it looked like their indoor space was just as thoughtfully crafted.
