Mr. Submarine & Sal's Pizza

I haven't been inside, but instead I had some pizza that was picked up. It was really good, while it might have lacked a little bit on some seasoning and even less on the sauce, it was amazing.

If you enjoy pizza from other locations such as Vinny's and Anna's this won't dissapoint, and even if it does just a little, the proximity definitely pays off and balances out some of the very minor downsides.

I am a customer from when Mr. Submarine was closer to Turner Road. They have since moved to the Moseley location. The take out subs are good and plenty food for your money. On 2-21-20 my family and I visited the sit down portion of the restaurant and ordered a pizza and a sub. The dine in experience was disappointing. Took about 50 minutes to bring out a pizza and one chicken sub. The service started out with prompt drink orders but after that the waitress was scarce if you had a request. Order was wrong size pizza but that did not end up being a big deal. Pizza at this location I found to taste too bland. I have no desire to visit the dine in area again.

We came for the subs. Chips are default, and it's an extra 2.79 for fries. However, you do get a lot of fries! I got the meatball sub (pictured is the roast beef) and it was delicious!! Very good food. Haven't tried the pizza yet.

I've been here three times now; ordered out each time. The food is outstanding - we've had the steak & cheese, the meatball sub, pizza, and now the cold-cut Italian sub. The staff has been very friendly and courteous each time even as they worked through some issues the first week with their opening.

We are very happy to have another locally run restaurant nearby!

Had dinner there Saturday night. Cheese steak was awesome. Cold cut sub was fantastic. Pizza was great as well. Good service to boot.
