Latitude Seafood Co. Midlothian

Party of 8 with reservations. Menus were sticky and chairs were quite uncomfortable. Dining area is quite loud. Drinks came out... one martini was missing olives and the kiwi margarita had a sticker on the kiwi. Husband ordered a beer, they were out, ordered a 2nd beer, it was out, and finally got a beer on the 3rd request. Appetizers were great. Half the table got entrees, the other half got their entrees 5 minutes later. Entrees tastes great and flavorful.

We went on a Thursday which was crab leg night. They were delicious and $15 a pound which is a great deal. The shrimp appetizer and salads were pretty good.We also got a fried seafood platter. The batter was really thick and pretty flavorless. You couldn't tell if you were eating a shrimp or an oyster. We ended up not eating much of it. The service was slow and a bit disorganized. Overall it was just okay.

Went here for happy hour on a Tuesday. Sat at the bar and ordered drinks and the food on special (steamed oysters and fried calamari). The drinks were okay, but the food left a lot to be desired. The steamed oysters had no brine and were almost dried out; and the calamari was cold, as if it had been sitting for awhile. The sever who brought us the food offered to remake the calamari for us, but only brought us a ramekin of the oyster juice to pour onto the oysters. The second make of the calamari was delicious, but it's disappointing that a seafood place had such average food. We also noticed that the people at the bar beside us had something wrong with their shrimp, but we're not sure what it was. Maybe it's just because we got the happy hour specials or something. The service at the bar was good, with the bartenders being friendly and attentive. I would give this place a second try, but I'm not super impressed.

It was my first time coming to Latitudes. My server was Liz and she was amazing. Since it was my first time going I had no idea what to get so she recommended the big lat burger and it was DELICIOUS! She was prompt and attentive. I never had to ask for anything, she was always right there when I needed something. I will definitely be back and I’ll definitely be sure to ask to be seated with her!

This place is awesome! We had Latitudes cater and deliver lunch for a work event and it was PERFECT! The ease of setting everything up to how amazing the food was, just great all around! I've also been her for dinner and drinks and the service and atmosphere is always top notch! I recommend them for anything from casual dining, drinks at the bar, date night, or catering.
