Solid place! I remember going here two years ago when they closed down but I'm glad the place is back up and running again.
I visited with my husband for dinner on a Saturday evening. Considering that they've been open for a couple of weeks, I didn't expect it to be as busy as it was. The food was excellent! I had pho, and my husband had a vermicelli bowl. Where the experience fell apart was in the service. I watched a table of five seated next to us have to repeatedly ask for service, first for menus, then for their order to be taken. After a period of time, it became apparent that their orders had never been put in and they had to have their orders taken again. We also observed other tables take a long time to get their orders taken. In addition, my husband didn't receive the sauce to add to the noodles. We tried for a long time to get someone's attention before we were successful. We really want this restaurant to be successful, so I'm hoping my comments will be taken into account. The staff needs to be more organized, and I think with additional training (and maybe more staff), that can happen. FYI - when you are ready to pay, note your table number. Go up to the counter to the left of the restaurant, and provide that to the cashier. The ticket will not be delivered to your table. It's fairly common in pho restaurants but each place has a slightly different procedure.
What do you need on a cold night? What is my comfort food it’s Pho. We each got pho Takeaway I got pho with chicken and he got pho with beef and then we got egg rolls. I spent a lot of time in Vietnam, so I am very picky and I think this is very good for if I had a small criticism I would’ve loved a little bit more cilantro, but it was still very very tasty and nicely packed. We did not eat in the restaurant, but was satisfied with her to go order and it was packaged. I also thought that eggrolls were very good.
Honestly I can't say enough good things about Pho 60. I decided to check them out 2 weeks after they opened. The food was amazing, the prices were very reasonable, the establishment was clean and remodeled very nice compared to the restaurant that was there before Pho 60, most importantly they actually payed attention to the table to see if we needed refills which is rare in Asian establishments. I'd highly recommend trying them out! I hope they keep up the good work.
Great job for our visit during their soft opening. We tried three of their vegetarian/vegan menu items. All three dishes were great, comparable to pho so 1 in the west end. I love that we finally have an authentic pho restaurant on the south side. Lights in the parking lot were not working yet. Red tray on the table is used for utensils, make sure you have those before your food arrives 😁
