Great atmosphere and lovely decorations. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend the Tonkotsu Ramen and seafood pancake. The staff was very nice. Great place to visit with your family and friends. Everything was delicious!

I stopped by here on my way down south, and it's a very cute ramen restaurant! It wasn't as busy as everyone else described and we were able to get a table immediately. The Japanese-inspired interior is really nice- I liked the ceiling in particular, as I've been to a lot of ramen places and that's not commonly decorated. (There's kpop music playing if that's your thing.)

They provide Korean dishes (kimchi, etc.) before appetizers. Everything was served quickly (water, appetizers, ramen) and was hot. The waitress checked in on us a lot and was really attentive.

I completely forgot to take any photos of the food, but I'll try to next time if I ever happen to be in the are again. I eat a lot of Northern Virginia ramen, so to me, this is a 4/5. My father who doesn't considers the food to be really good. The yokai bun was really soft, which is my favorite type of bun. The ramen comes in a really interesting deep bowl. I'm a slow eater, but the bowl retained the heat super well and my ramen stayed as hot as when it was served the whole time until I finished, which was really cool.

Overall, I think this is worth a visit if you're in the area. I think this would be a cute date night spot, or a good place to go with your friends. If you drink, it might also be worth a shot- they have an interesting drink menu and the bar area is really cool.

Excited to try Fuji Ramen VA tonight! No wait for seating, friendly service, and piping hot food.

First photo is dolsot bibimbap with pork belly instead of beef. Enjoyed the crispy rice!

Second photo is the tan tan ramen, which was good but not spicy so we added gochujang sauce.

Next is the lychee martini, even though we missed happy hour by five minutes. Nice and not too sweet.

The repeat bibimbap is to highlight the bright and beautiful gochujang sauce that made everything delicious!

We look forward to trying more dishes there!

Ok so this one kind of hurt to have to write. Ive been waiting on this restaurant to come open for months because i love ramen but the closest shop to me is 40 minutes away so i was really excited for this place. Unfortunately I was let down.

Service was okay. I could tell that my waitress was new at waitressing so i give grace on that. But several things we ordered were wrong. She corrected it once brought to her attention so i wont harp too much on it, but they definitely could use some more practice there.

Thats not why i was letdown.

The Foood! It really needs work. We go to the ramen spot in richmond and their ramen is on POINT so to come here I expected it might not be AS good but it wasnt close. The broth was not flavorful at all and mine had kind of a fishy aftertaste which i wasnt a fan of. I had the chasu ramen and added crispy chicken my husband had the yokai ramen and also added crispy chicken. Our crispy chicken had no seasoning. It was pretty much flavorless breaded chicken. A let down because everything LOOKED amazing but didnt taste amazing. We got 2 appetizers the yokai buns and the pork gyoza dumplings. The yokai bun had no flavor except the mayonnaise. The pork had absolutely nothing on it. Bland as can be. Disappointed there. The pork gyoza actually was hard to find the pork. It was like a spring roll inside which was weird to me. Maybe my waitress brought out the wrong thing but that was unlike any gyoza ive ever had and there was barely any (if there was even any) pork in it.

    Lastly the price.

Before tip we were looking at 65 dollars for 2 people. Kind of steep for lunch time. Especially for flavorless food.

Overall im highly disappointed but willing to give another chance just because its the only ramen place around and its new and maybe i ordered the wrong thing. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. But there was NOTHING i ate that i could compliment. I hope they get better. My husband was already saying he never wants to come back again. I’ll have to convince him to give it another chance because he thought the same as me.

Food was fast, hot, and delicious. Service was great, hostess was kind and attentive. Environment was clean and looked nice. Had none of the issues mentioned by others who went during the soft open. Definitely recommend and will return. I forgot to take pics before everyone started eating but food was plated beautifully.
