Ray's Sweet Shoppe and Poutinerie

This is the best place in Covington to get a Cheeseburger!! Absolutely delicious on a soft croissant roll!! The onion rings are amazing, lightly battered and NOT GREASY! The server was very polite and we have enjoyed every visit!

I stopped by here after picking up my children from school. Their ice cream is priced very reasonable !! everyone enjoyed their ice cream friendly ,convenient ,clean , and welcoming Thanks for bringing a nice ice cream shop that also has small grabs to Covington keep up the good work 😁

Yum! This is just the cutest little establishment with a cool vintage vibe, as there is something interesting everywhere you look!  Not only do they have decadent desserts, ( MUST TRY THE Brownie Sundae,🍨 OH MY! ) they hand dip their creamy ice cream and turn it into rich shakes.....🥤or you can have it in a dish or cone of your choice,🍦 and with multiple flavors, toppings, sprinkles and cheesecakes, those choices are pretty extensive and delicious!  Best of all, they've Introduced our small town to POUTINE!! 🍟Done up right with the gravy AND cheese curds & they do offer multiple toppings/flavor varieties!  But besides the great food, my favorite attribute is that it has an eclectic charm, a sort of unique "Hippie-Chic" style with elemental arrangements throughout. Unique and delightful jewelry🍄, "bohemian" trinkets/crystals, things for your heroes- nurses, firefighters, police/ responders are among the collection of meaningful gifts that are tucked all around the shop. You can browse while u wait, and buy🎁 for all of the special people in your life ... and yourself! You can't forget the jars of "candies by the pound" that you CAN scoop yourself! 🍭🍬🍫 My recommendation: Stop in, enjoy a meal or a treat and take a look at the period decor...with a twist! TREAT YOURSELF!💜✌️🥰

If you are looking for a little something different then be sure to try this little place. We shared a Philly cheesesteak poutine and it was great. Top it off with a shake to go. Friendly staff and even though they were still going through opening glitches everything was great. Loved the 50s' vibe. Will be back to try their full menu soon.
