Java Jack's is one of my favorite establishments for nostalgic reasons! It's a cozy and reliable spot in town. Try the frozen hot chocolate, you won't regret it ever. There aren't many vegetarian options but enough if you're going for a hearty meal to kick start the rest of your day.

What a charming restaurant, right in the center of the historical district. We were passing through and stopped for brunch. So glad we did! The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The home fries were good. Well seasoned and browned just right. The steak was great! The gravy was nice and creamy. Our server was very sweet. We didn't feel rushed at all. She was happy to refill our coffee as we read the local paper. If you have to choose one restaurant in town, pick this one. :)
