AVOID!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! BAD FOOD!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!

My co worker suggested this place and I took him on his word, said he had been there bout a year ago and had a good lunch, so I met a friend there.
The location is nice and the setting inside is quite interesting.

We both ordered the 30$ lunch special and chose from the options in appitizers and entrees, it also came with soup & salad. Among the appetizers were Russian oysters (with sour cream & red caviar), being a huge oyster fan I asked if I could sub my appetizer for the oysters and said I would pay the difference. For the rest of my order I asked for the wild boar, and it came with soup & salad.

The oysters arrived shucked & prepared but without a plate of ice, I swallowed the first one and immediately felt a sour bitter taste, you know the taste when you know something is past due. I attempted to eat a second oyster and had to spit it out. I returned the oysters, the waiter offered a replacement appetizer and I chose the wild game pate.

The rest of the meal went as follows:
Wild game pate was unimpressive, being a big charcuterie fan I was not thrilled, I ate about half the appetizer.
The white bean soup was tasty, probably the best part of the meal.
    Didnt touch the salad
The wild boar was equally unimpressive and seemed, like 2 slices of frozen meat from who knows how long ago with sauce and some potatoes and green beans, definately not up to par with the supposedly fine dining quality or price.

    BUT HERES THE WORST PART!
I get back to work and the meal isnt sitting well at all, Im nauseous, got stomach cramps, insane heartburn & indigestion, to the point I decide to come home from work. I get home and continue with the nausea and stomach pains, within about 20 minutes of arriving home the nausea gets too much and I go to the bathroom and throw up. I personally despise having to puke so that pretty much ruined my evening.

A couple of hours later during the dinner hours I call back and ask to talk to the manager, I speak with JB, who is cordial and apologizes about the situation, says he will check the oysters, communicate the situation to the owner, takes my info and offers a free meal. At this point I have no interest in returning yet want to let them know their seafood is bad so perhaps someone else can avoid the situation they put me through.

The owner called me back about half hour later, he said that he had checked the seafood with the chef along with the other food items I ordered and stated they were all fine. He then proceeded to describe my order and emphasized how each dish was "heavy" and that perhaps it was the heavy dishes and not the bad food that caused the sickness. I disagreed with him, he kept on stating that the food was ok and him and the chef checked it, again I disagreed, he asked me to come in right now and have the oysters, I declined (not gonna waste more time). Ultimately the call from the owner made the whole experience worse because he would not admit I got sick form his food, nor did I feel he was upset.

    LONG STORY SHORT

I went to Serbian Crown for lunch and within 2 hours was puking & all I ate was an apple for breakfast..

    thats my story
