McLean Family Restaurant

Nice family run local place for good basics. The pastrami sandwich and broiled crab platter are excellent choices. Breakfast is served all day and the staff are friendly and pleasant. Has a steady regular crowd throughout the week.

Tyson's Corner is these days teaming with breakfast restaurants calling themselves "boutique" or "hand-crafted" where these things have become synonyms for high prices and faux quality. There workhorse diners like Waffle House have been driven out of the area. Luckily, there is still this absolutely fantastic restaurant. The staff was friendly and always ready with the coffee refills. The food was outstanding start to finish. If you want a quality breakfast for a reasonable price, you must come try this restaurant!

Really enjoyed this place, nice family friendly restaurant with good food and great service. It's a small place and gets very packed so prepare for that if you go during a peak time. Looks like a lot of locals and regulars go there.

Sunday lunch at McLean institution. A step back in time to the 1960's. Well, a step back and three standard deviations to the right. Club sandwich was good with friendly table service.

If you are a fan of those European eateries where you have to bend to navigate between tables, this place is for you. If you happen to get there at a crowded time, ya have to be a real contortionist.

Food fine, but myself I can't see the appeal. This is very personal, your culinary tastes may differ. It is a very popular place, so there must be something that lots of customers find attractive.

Pay is not at the table, but at the cashier by the exit.
