Dave’s hot chicken

Dave’s hot chicken is the best. I can’t get enough of this place, the chicken sliders and cheese fries are delicious as well as the milkshakes. The price is pretty reasonable as well. The Mac and cheese is not it for me though, it tastes like microwaved Mac and cheese and I would not recommend it. Daves hot chicken would’ve have gotten a 5 if the Mac and cheese tasted better.

The customer service was great and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the #1 Combo which has 2 tenders and fries. I wasn’t sure how big the tenders were so, I added a third tender. My tenders were huge and I definitely didn’t need the third one! The chicken was hot and moist, but I didn’t really care for the flavor of the seasoning. Even with the dipping sauce and honey on the chicken, I thought the seasoning was just too overpowering. I like spicy food so I I ordered my chicken with Hot heat and it was surprisingly hot. I wish I had ordered Medium or maybe even Mild. I did like the seasoned crinkle fries.

First time and definitely will be back! The seasoning is so unique and flavorful. The portions were so filling but I definitely recommend Dave’s #3 on the menu so you get a bit of everything. The fries were very good but the mac and cheese could be slightly better however, it wasn’t a huge issue overall. I definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

The food and service here is always top notch. All of the employees are great, friendly for a quick chat, and fast. The order is always spot on when I get home. From online order to pick up is a quick 15 minutes, & on a Saturday night that's pretty impressive. The only knock is that dining in looks miserable. The seats are packed and it's loud as hell, but it wasn't designed for the atmosphere. We ate it too fast for pictures; next time.
That next time {12.16.23}: Once again the front of the house employees were friendly, helpful, accurate, and funny with jokes that could be heard without the noise from every seat in the house filled. Apologies to the company, I intended to leave a five-star overall review that was accidentally (my fault clearly) made a four star. The food was noticeably even better this time with crisp slaw on top of the sliders, perfectly cooked & breaded chicken, the fries my nephew steals from me every time, & our three amigos shakes (one of each flavor with Oreo pieces) that can't get any better.

The sandwich and fries were not only tasty but also slightly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were bold, and the spice level was just right. The crispy chicken in the sandwich was perfectly cooked, and the fries were a delicious spicy compliment. Best hot chicken I’ve had personally.
