The Maple Room Restaurant & Lounge

Priceless early dinner. We are vegetarians and the fresh Gnocchi and tagliatelle pasta dishes very over the top. The mixed greens and Burrata salad were superb. The cocktails were all five star(forager and mescal drink). The strawberry puff pastry and chocolate pyramid were outstanding. Atmosphere and glass wear and service was great.

So happy to see a good restaurant open in Maple Avenue in Vienna. We love going to restaurants with free and easy parking, good food, and get home in less than 15 minutes. Our favorites are the Granny Smith Apple Pie, the Grilled Branzino, the NY Strip with Shrimp, and the Grilled Pork Chop. The Oyster Rockefeller and Pork Belly are fantastic appetizers. We sat by the bar lounge chairs facing Maple Avenue. It’s not loud for a Saturday night, but I wish the comfortable lounge chairs weren’t so heavy.

As The Maple Room is new I didn’t see many reviews regarding families so we decided to try it with 3 kids. Restaurant was gorgeous inside and it was wonderful to be back in the Amphora dining rooms. Service was amazing as we went early to avoid the crowd of adults.

Food was so expensive I did t order for myself to avoid paying more. We ordered an appetizer, salad, four meals, and a side of fries. Nothing else as kid friendly, expect the $$$ pasta dish. Overall the food was very bland and the steak was not worth the price.

It a super nice place for adults, but NOT for kids. I was hoping for a Ruth Chris’ and we got Ruth Missed.

If they changed the menu, added a Burger option and more price friendly options I may go back.

Adding our two big thumbs up for The Maple Room. Excellent decor, nice overall vibe, food and cocktails on point, and the service was impeccable. Maybe a tad pricey but no regrets and we would go back. Capped off desert with a stroll down to the Hawk & Griffin for some live music and pints. So nice to have such good options near us without having to go into DC.

Everything was fantastic, and the recommended wine paired well with our dishes. I loved the appetizers, main courses, and desserts. Our server was knowledgeable and professional; the decor was excellent as well. It is the perfect place for those who want to celebrate their anniversary or have a memorable night.
