I meet a friend of mine for lunch here every three months or so. PJ's has a decent variety of items from salads, soups, sandwiches, and platters. The wait staff is pretty on top of keeping drinks topped off. I wish they had e-payment here, though, because we're still giving the waiter a credit card, waiting for its return, and signing like they've done since the 70s. But hats off to them for enduring at that location since so many others have closed down over there.
The interior definitely feels like an Irish pub and is clean and welcoming. The happy hour drink prices and beer selection are good. The service was relatively fast and very friendly. The deviled eggs from the happy hour food menu were a unique find at a bar and tasted great.
This place has great Irish food. I bring friends here just to give them something different than all the other fare for miles around. They have a great little niche item that they do very well... Tater tots done in a variety of ways. That are so tasty. Whiskey/beer selection is pretty good, not huge but still has quality items on it. Every time I'm there it's classic rock on the house speakers (van Halen, queen, steely Dan). There is ample parking in the shopping center it's in.
We had a small luncheon welcoming our newest coworker and everything was very nice. It wasn't overcrowded and our food came out quicker than we expected. My pub burger was perfect (loved the pretzel bun) and our server and host were attentive to our group.
All around great pub with a wonderful and friendly staff, light atmosphere with many weekly events. The food is excellent, and not just for a pub, actually restaurant quality menu. They no longer list it but I still opt for the steak and mac & cheese quite frequently. I only just recently discovered they also have a brunch menu that start at 11am. I haven't had less than great meals here. It is generally an older crowd of regulars so it is a nice quiet place to be. For those that are turned off by the parking situation, there is underground parking that is quite spacious (since it goes unnoticed by most).
