Kabobi By The Helmand

This place is AWESOME! The food is so good that we got it THREE nights in a row, no joke. Highly recommend the eggplant app, the chicken kabob, and the beef entrees. Great service, as well. Glad we found this gem.

Everything i could possibly want! I had eaten at the original Helmand in Baltimore so as soon as i saw this i knew this was gonna be fantastic. Warm welcome by the owners and staff along with a sampling of a rose that was a perfect compliment to the wonderful cuisine! Forgot to photograph the cardamon pudding dessert, but believe it was also awesome! Had the pumpkin and mushroom appetizers along with the vegetarian bowl! Superb!

This place is fantastic. Tried it on a whim with a friend and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. I had the chicken bowl with the carrots and raisins. It was super savory and just had the right amount of sweetness. They also have good bread with it as well. The lamb and beef that my friends ordered was also very good from the bites I had. With the good service and good food plus affordable prices make sure you stop here. Fantastic!!

Very casual dining - order from a counter and the food brought to your table. Afghan food is served here in bowls and it's delicious. Lamb and chicken are the most common on the menu, all were served on a bed of rice with vegetables. We chose four different selections to get as broad an experience as possible: full of herbs and spices but not overdone, all were really delicious. About $20 for food and drink and well worth it. Try it you'll like it.

Great food and great service, at a great price. Nothing short of exceptional. The food has that ever desirable home-style flavor, but at the same time maintains the balance and presentation of chef-quality cooking. The chicken kabob bowl I tried here was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be going again, and taking friends and family with me as well! ????????
