Carrabba's Italian Grill

Went to eat at Carrabba’s in Reston. Been going there for a long time. Must be new management as things have changed. It was a Saturday and early when we went there so not crowded. We were seated quickly and all was fine. Our server came quickly and seemed nice. We ordered drinks and calamari. After a short time he brought our drinks and we ordered our main course. We ordered off the special menu for two entrees and one meal off the standard menu. All went fine until the meal started to progress. We never got the calamari but the soups were so good that was okay. Then the main courses arrived but only one item was ours. They found my wife’s meal but brought me the wrong item. Not a big deal if the server would have said “sorry” or anything other than just walk away. After quite a while a different person brought what I ordered which was lamb chops. They were burned as they hurried to get the food done and were mediocre at best. First bad meal at Carrabba’s that was more server related. He never asked how the food was, proved to be inattentive, and needed reminding of simple things. First time ever that we ate there and no manager came by to ask how the food was. As we said it was not crowded so the poor service and lack of attention to details was out of character compared to previous visits. May go to Centreville in the future. Hope it’s not like Outback and just getting old and not keeping up with good service and help.

We usually come during the week. We were craving italian and came in tonight. The staff here is incredible. We know Brandon the owner/operator. He takes great care of his guests and his staff. This shows immensely. Andrew, our server took great care of us.

Carrabba's has been always our fav place. We went to this location for first time and was great experience. Place is very clean,welcoming and decorated for Christmas. Our server Craig was very good.Food was yummy as always. Will definitely recommend this place for all Italian food lovers... :) :) :)

Monthly Special diners. I have been to several of these meals and they have all been wonderful. The wines they pair the food with, have been superb. It has been fun meeting new people and chatting about the food. It was nice receiving a copy of the menu and wines. I was able to purchase all the wines listed at our local wine shop. Servers are very generous with their wine pours which is a pleasant surprise. Monthly Saturday brunch special was awesome. Not many in attendance, which is a shame. It is called Bubbles and Brunch. Being a champagne lover I was sad that I could only get one glass, but it paired great with the breakfast menu. A bloody mary ,or coffee could be substituted for the mimosa. You will not be disappointed. Friendly service, great food and a warm atmosphere .
