Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que

This was my first time at famous Dave's and I'm so glad I went. The salmon was perfect. I love the different sauces. Someone must have called off because they were short staffed and the bartender came to seat us and everyone else. He also made sure everyone had everything they needed. I really appreciated his customer service. The bathrooms were also very clean. Great place.????????????????

Dave's is going through a lot of changes. Some sites are corporate and some franchised, and they're run a little differently. The new menu here is good. Ask for the blackberry BBQ sauce. This restaurant continues to be so-so on both cleanliness and server attentiveness, which are very important to me. I hope the new manager keeps improving this location.

My son is stationed in Arlington and we used Famous Dave’s to cater the rehearsal dinner for his wedding. The food was so good it was a great conversation starter for two families to get to know each other. The staff was great to help with any changes we made to the menu and when they delivered and set up the food it was nice to be able to enjoy everyone.

This Famous Dave's location is not one of the better that I have visited. The BBQ was good, as usual. And so were the sides. In fact, one highlight were the onion straws on the appetizer sampler platter. They were the crispiest and least greasy of any that I have had at any other Famous Dave's. Unfortunately the sweet iced tea was really lacking. It tasted like watered down unsweetened tea with artificial sweeteners. Very disappointing.

Service is average at best. Our drinks and food were brought out promptly, but no one really checked on us and when they did we still couldn't get a drink refill without asking again later and waiting longer.

The facility is nice enough and clean. Typical Dave's atmosphere with a tantalizing BBQ aroma wafting throughout. Still a good place for a BBQ meal with consistently good food, but a bit hit or miss in the other areas.
