Bonchon - Alexandria

Great food and very polite service! Best wings in the area hands down! Sweet crunch and soy Garlic wings. Our kids enjoyed the food which is saying something.

The other locations are way better so I was expecting that. The fried rice lacked flavor, the chicken was fine but also needed some more sauce with it. My husband had a bulgogi dish which was fine but again it seemed to lack flavor. He said the food was not hot enough for him, temperature wise. I think there should be more pictures on the wall and the interior walls were a bit damaged. Obviously not the owners doing but it did not feel warm and inviting. Servers were friendly but a bit inattentive for us being only one of three patrons. My husband and I were so excited for this Bonchon to open up near us but were disappointed. We probably won't be returning to this location.

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is fantastic. They do not have a bad item on the menu and every sauce they have is great. Also ignore the one star review about sauce. You want the sauce, you want this flavor. It is worth the wait and worth the price.
