Barnside Diner

Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant location. Manager first and foremost was very rude. I as a Uber driver as well needs to work around a schedule. Barnside diner being my second pickup order had me waiting for a food 20 mins for them to tell me they still don’t got it ready. As I walked in, I kindly asked a young lady very kind who said it will be a few I said okay I understand it’s busy. But as I waited I saw more orders for customers inside the store being made before the previous order, which they walked in after I did. I asked to speak to store manager. She came off rude and unprofessional. I told her the situation and she didn’t seem to care as if I was just bothering her. As a store manager you are suppose to be to handle situations under stress. I honestly don’t know why she is in this position. Very not happy with their service. Would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

First and foremost this Store manager was very rude. As I was doing one of my Uber pick ups I nicely asked one one of ladies if it was ready, she was very kind and said it will be a few. As I waited I had seen every other order but the Uber order was being made. Eventually I asked to speak to a store manager. Very unprofessional very rude as I spoke with her. Customer service was trash. Store manager didn’t want to give me her name because she know she was in the wrong. She even asked if I wanted to come in and give her a hand. Some people shouldn’t be store managers if they can’t handle the stress they signed up for. Will for sure be putting in a formal complaint. Very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend coming to this location with their type of attitude and mindset.

We had no wait despite coming in on a busy Saturday morning. The manager is very professional and attentive. The value for the food and service is amazing. Everything is fresh and you can watch them make your food right in front of you. Our food was out minutes after ordering. The staff was very professional and provided great service! My new favorite place for weekend breakfast.

Was nice; the price came to about 10 per person. Food was a tasty burger, we asked and received an extra onion slice on it easily. Went in the snow when everything else was closed. This place is cooking in the early morning and is neat

First time to visit Barnside Diner. Happened to notice the diner on our way to work and dropped in for a quick breakfast. Quick service...very good food. ...and very inexpensive. Kinda large portions so not everything was completely eaten...but we will definitely be returning on Friday morning for more.

To date, the best diner I've been to in Northern VA.

Barnside is in a pretty random place off of Little River Turnpike and, from the outside, feels like the kind of restaurant where you'd enter a healthy individual and leave with any number of parasitic diseases.

However, I braved this place one night and was absolutely blown away.

Now, of course, it's diner food, so you shouldn't expect anything that's going to knock you out of your seat. But, at the same time, if you enjoy good, fresh breakfast food at any time of the day, then this place is one of the best around.

When I went, around the dinner hour on a weeknight, I was one of only 2-3 other people in the whole restaurant. That being the case, I was seated immediately and had my drink with 3 minutes.

I ordered the pancake platter which came with 3 pancakes, 2 eggs and a couple slices of bacon. Typically, I'd expect to pay somewhere around $10 for this kind of meal, but it was only $8 at Barnside. A rarity in Northern VA.

The meal itself was phenomenal. Everything was cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious.

On top of that, the staff and service was great. Our waiter was so friendly and checked on us consistently throughout the meal to make sure that we had everything that we needed. I loved it.

Overall, this is my new go-to diner in Northern VA. It's quaint, it's unique, it's inexpensive, it's great for a family and it's delicious.
