    Exceptional service. Attentive waitstaff, water glasses always full. Kitchen uses a lighter hand than some if you don't care for extreme heat in every dish and everything we've tried has been well prepared and presented. Our favorite Indian place in N. Virginia, perhaps anywhere. Should go.

    Being vegan and someone who LOVES Indian cuisine, I have been on the hunt for delicious vegan curry to no avail - until I ate here recently. The food is beautiful! It wasn't oily, unlike curries made in many Indian restaurants and the food was full of flavor! For once I didn't feel like eating a vegan meal in a restaurant was a compromising or dull experience. Dishes of India has a great menu for vegans and vegetarians and of course meat-eaters too. In addition to lovely food, the service was wonderful and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

    The food was excellent, quite flavorful.... the staff was courteous and very responsive.... i would highly recommend this restuarant.

    Outstanding Service! Last Saturday, our family hosted a Diwali event at home. We made the order 5 days out and picked it up on the day of the event. We pulled the car to the curb and they loaded all the food in the trunk. Very well packed. Got home and noticed onions and tomatoes were missing. The manager drove to our home to bring it! What a gentleman he is! The food was EXCELLENT, really, it was really good. All the guests enjoyed and we had lots of left overs (portion size is great) and shared it with everyone who couldn't make it. My wife and I highly recommend them for catering and even eating. We are truly satisfied.

    We have been enjoying Dishes of India since they first opened, more than 20 years ago. The food is exceptional, and the service is gracious. We have never had less than a wonderful experience here in more than 20 years. I cannot recommend it highly enough!!!
