I have a lot of respect for non-Japanese running Japanese restaurant and replicating Japanese food, but if you want exact precision, Blue Ocean would be the place to go in Fairfax, VA. The waiters and waitresses do a great job. They remember my family over the years and serve us with great care and friendliness. I see the same team behind the counter delivering the same restaurant food as you would get in Japan.

(December 21, 2018, 8:34 pm)This place is one of the best place for authentic Japanese food in the nova area. Almost everyone that lives here knows about this place. They have fair price and huge selections of foods. I usually get their chirashi or sashimi, always a good experience. Staff is friendly and service is good. I enjoy looking at the sushi chef preparing the sushi, since they look like Mario and Luigi working together.
