Excellent server. I didn't like my mixed drink something cocoa. He offered to replace for another and the spiked cider was good. He was attentive to me and my friend and it was a busy Saturday lunchtime. The cauliflower was excellent. The TLT was bland. The space is way too loud. Have to scream to hear one another.
Good spot for when you want a meal that doesn't feel heavy. I've always had great servers here. Appetizers are creative and yummy. Patio is great. Losing a star because I like beer. And the selection here is poor (no drafts and not a good bottle list). I wish the beer selection matched the creative dishes they have. Mixed drinks are hit or miss.
My sister is vegetarian and really enjoyed this place. However I do not. I find the portion sizes small and often times I’m still hungry after eating here. I’m still giving it 5 stars though because it’s one of the few places that my sister enjoys and eats at.
Whole food restaurant with atmosphere, healthy fare, and an open bar. Wide open restaurant floor with waitstaff specially selected to fit the millennial target demographic. Pricey enough to count as a date venue, and casual enough for fun conversations over dinner.
Reservations are a damn good idea.
Speaking of Target, True Food is across District AV from Target, and your most convenient park is at that department store. You'll be catty-corner from the movie theater in the Mosaic district to cap off your evening.
As always, if you're coming off RT. 50 consider Williams AV to get to Mosaic.
