The Silver Diner gives you the feel of the old time diner with some updated food choices. Since I was eating alone I sat at the counter that resembles the old bar and grill counters complete with the record machines. I had a half sandwich /salad combo which was good. The prices were a touch on the high side but still reasonable. The service was great. I will stop by again when I am in the area.
Party of four. All the entrees were delicious except the member of our party who ordered the steak said it was tough and chewy. Between the 4 of us we shared 3 desserts all of which were very good. I would go back certainly. I usually go to the Fair Oaks location but this one was mostly gone except for the steak.
Nice old style diner with breakfast lunch and diner fare. This stays open late till midnight on most days. Menu items are affordable and food quality is not bad at all. You can have hot breakfast for less than $10 including coffee. Lots of families come here as well as business folks and friends to chat over the food. Service delivery is quick and efficient and waiters are friendly. Overall a good place to visit anytime if your needs and expectations are not very high.
My evil twin and I visit Silver Diner almost every week. On this particular visit, our waiter- person was probably one of the best we've ever been helped by .. Energenic, friendly, quick, and always smiling..on top of all the work he was doing.
As for everything else...the food was great, the place was clean and ( again) the service was fantastic!.
Thank you Silver Diner!
Very good meals overall. It was fast, warm and decent sized portions. The soups and salads were significantly different in size, but both were tasty. The main courses were very good. From a breakfast to a steak and meatloaf dinner the portions were ample to knock down a decent sized hunger. The main meals, one bottle beer, a hot coccoa and a soda came to 60.00 before tip. Pretty reasonable.
