**Attention** - This place closed down on 12/26. They did move to a temp location in the hotel but do not have draft beer. The atmosphere is completely different. The food menu is the same but I was told a new menu is being released on 1/14. The new restaurant is set to open in March or April. They still have great and hard-working staff.

It is one of those places not everyone knows about. Great Irish bar with good selection of beer and drinks. All the bartenders are good but if you get Michael, you will have a great experience. Best place to go to on a cloudy day or to watch games. Enjoy...

Travon made my experience so much better. It was very busy and he seemed to be the only server. It was loud and they didn't have the food I ordered off the menu so had to come back and offer me the menu again. I was annoyed. My cocktail was weak and overpriced. I wouldn't go again unless I was staying in the hotel.

Here is the plain truth about this place. If you are staying in the attached hotel and don't want to go outside go ahead and eat here. Prices are in line with quality. Bartenders are friendly and service is decent.

Don't expect anyone who works here to be a God at pouring Guiness or something else like that. It is a hotel bar not a high street pub in downtown Dublin.

Do expect a decent atmosphere with a decent pub menu from low cal salad meal to high cal shepherd's pie.

A nice idea is to get some bottled beer and enjoy the bean bag toss games in the courtyard in front of the pub.

Hint put Double Tree Hotel in your GPS. You can always walk through the hotel lobby to get to this bar.
