Maggiano's Little Italy

We went here for Valentine’s Day because they were doing a murder mystery dinner. We thought it would be fun to do something different this year. It was really fun and the food was better than expected. The staff was super friendly and also a fun part of the mystery. I would recommend this location.

We had the classic pasta special. Great value for 1 app, 2 pasta entrees 1 dessert plus two orders of pasta for carryout all for $40 something. Wow. Plus the pasta is really good. Service very good. Some of the waiters have been there for years meaning must be well managed. And they recognize previous customers.

I love Maggiano's. Needless to say I quickly perked up when my job decided to hold our PM meeting onsite. I enjoy being served family style because it's a great ice breaker when seated in a large group. My only complaint was that our meal consisted of dishes that seemed to incorporate mushrooms in every thing we consumed. Otherwise the service, food and ambience was spot on per usual!

This review is for brunch. They have some nice complimentary bread and olive oil. Their chicken and waffles were good. Their lemon ricotta pancakes were sub par, however. My mom and I couldn't detect any hint of lemon or ricotta flavor. Even as a normal pancake, it wasn't that good. I prefer fluffy pancakes but this was kinda tougher than I prefer. Service was slow. Maybe this was because we were in the bar section, but then don't seat us in the bar section. So, go for brunch if you want chicken and waffles. Otherwise, other places may offer better prepared breakfast items.
