Founding Farmers Tysons

Update: Founding Farmers reached out to us and invited our party back for a dinner. Everything was great and we appreciate them taking the opportunity to rectify the situation.

Had a 7:15 reservation. We waited 45 minutes to get seated when we had a reservation! This isn’t the first time either...whoever is in charge of their reservation system needs to take a look and consider not wasting other people’s time.

One of the best places to eat in the DMV. They’re a staple for your DC visit. This location is beautiful and humongous. The line can get long, but they have a large waiting area where you can sit or step outside and wait. The chicken is fantastic, but you can’t go wrong with the majority of the menu. Try something new!

All I have to say it BRUNCH, BRUNCH, BRUNCH! It was amazing. My boyfriend and I visited 2 days in a row and got the brunch both time. It is the best way to taste everything on the menu. The shrimp and grits, fried French toast and fried chicken were our favorites. We visited on Saturday and Sunday around 11 both days and there was about an hour and a half wait so reservations are recommended. Both time we took bar seating which is first come first serve. We were seated in about 15-30 when we went that route. The customer service was good but we didn’t required much from the waitress except drink refills since we got brunch. Great experience. I shall return!

This was my first time at any Founding Farmers restaurant and I’m so glad we picked the Tyson’s location for our Valentine’s Day dinner with friends. The avocado bacon burger was very tasty and juicy, my husband and I loved it. Our sides of coleslaw and fries were fresh and tasted amazing as well. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake and it was HUGE! Our server was so pleasant and had wonderful communication and customer service skills. Absolutely great meal and a great time.
