A quaint little ice cream spot built next to the owners residence, in historic Clifton. Ice cream is delicious!

If you have not seen this place in Clifton, well, you haven't visited Clifton. Small town with excellent treats around every corner. Peterson's ice cream is great before or after a meal. The space in the back is great for hanging out with the family or with friends.

Nothing bad about them, but nothing too special either. It is an awesome location - unique ice cream place. I still wonder though why people line up sooooo long though. line is too long... Usually the typical private popular home-made ice cream place has that more dairy milky flavor to their ice cream compared to the commercial ones. Peterson's Ice Cream really doesn't have that either.

Ice Cream is good as it should be, but didn't want to make it too overrated feeling as a review, therefore a 4 star. People working there are awesome though.

Great location, & excellent ice cream. I took a drive to Clifton on a sunny & traffic busy afternoon. Peterson's was a big part of that choice. It was definitely worth the trip.

Came with a gaggle of kids, and we were not disappointed! The line is long, but there were people with the lists of the daily flavor options so you were ready when you got to the front. We had food and ice cream, and everything was delicious. I really appreciated that they had a little of everything: regular ice cream, soft serve, gelato, sundaes, shakes, banana splits, etc. so you could definitely find at least one thing you (or your picky eater) like! Although who doesn’t like ice cream?
