Matsu

This place is hands-down the best sushi that I've had in Northern Virginia.

They've been open for over 20 years and that's for a very good reason. The service is always super friendly, the sushi is not only beautifully presented but also delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is always spectacularly cleanand even if you don't want to eat there, their takeout is very quick. I absolutely love this place.

Matsu is my go to sushi restaurant in this area. The staff are great, the food is wonderful. I take my son here quite frequently and the staff always engage with him and ask how he’s doing. When we order take out, they always have it ready on time and we have never had to wait. Eating in is great as well as the place isn’t too big and never too loud. The sushi is the best I’ve found in the entire NOVA area.

Our favorite place to get sushi in Northern Virgina. Consistently delicious no matter what you order. Tempura meals, appetizers, sushi are all excellent. High quality fish and nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!

My favorite sushi place I have experienced in Northern Virginia. I live about 2 mins from this location and have been going there past 8 years .Not just the food but even the perfect service. You don't walk into the place without completely feeling welcomed and someone greeting you. Nice ambience!

Very convenient location and great place to have a casual lunch/dinner. They have a simple sitting arrangement, not very fancy, but clean and organized. During lunchtime, it may get crowded. Me and my colleague were out for quick lunch there today. we ordered Box B (chicken) and Box C (beef/salmon). every thing was so flavorful and tasty. The portion size was just perfect and the price is so reasonable. They have little complimentary stuff along with box ( two little fried dumpling, soup and few pieces of orange at the end). The stuff were extremely courteous and quick. I am not a great "sushi" person, but I liked their sushi so much.I will go there again.
