I like the food, for the most part. Always have to ask for something to be added of taken away cuz they have some odd ideas. It's good for indulgence but I do wish they had a couple healthy options. The staff is always great, that can be counted on and that's why we go back. Side note, dress warm if you go, it's like a meat locker in there at all times!
Admittedly, I am nostalgic about TGIF Fridays. I ate regularly at the original Fridays in New York on 63rd and 1st Ave. This is before it franchised out. A great restaurant/bar that brings back great memories. I have seen/witnessed how Fridays has evolved over the years to stay popular. A lot of changes. It has experienced a lot of ups and downs as it tries to find it's place with millennials and the X generation. The food has consistently stayed good at a fair affordable price. The atmosphere has always be casual and friendly. The bar was a great place to watch a game, meet up with friends, or have that first date. The few times they messed up an order, they always made it right. These legacy restaurants are having a rough time. I hope TGIF Fridays can continue to stay relevant.
Good food, went for the 2 + 2 + 2 for $20. The appetizer was tasty, the dessert was great, and the half rack of ribs was perfect. My only very small complaint was the pasta dish was a little under seasoned, but that was easily fixed with a little salt and pepper.
Always love coming here! Best restaurant bar I've been too. Have only been for the bar at night. Awesome drinks, great bartenders every time. I also think they have the best mules. Jack Daniel sliders are delish
