On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Good food and service. The restaurant is extremely loud, and we had a very long wait time.

I’ve been here a couple times and the very first time the experience was great and the food was hot and delicious. But the last couple of times has me debating if I should even bother again. Waitresses have been so slow, hardly checking on you, I have to wave them down and the bartenders very slow, even when there’s no one at the bar and I can clearly see they aren’t busy just standing around trying to look cute. So much dust everywhere and in the ceiling coil/light fixtures, dangling over my table and food. I had a tiny fly in my margarita, ew. And when I had my waitress get me a new one, even after showing my fly infused drink to the manager, I only got an apology. The manager didn’t even come talk to me. And still charged me full price on that margarita. Although I got a new one, I think it should of been on the house or at least half priced. I mean, thank god I saw the floating fly before I took a sip! Yikes!
But, I’m not one to get into confrontations, and I didn’t want to make it a huge deal but at least I would of appreciated if they gave it to me half priced or something.
Needless to say, I have hope that this place will bounce back and be a 5 star restaurant again!
So in that case, I’ll give it another fly! I mean try!

UPDATE: I went again a few weeks ago and my family of 6 was seated very quickly, our waiter ( middle aged tall white gentleman with little hair ) was extremely nice, friendly, inviting and very attentive! Also, my margarita was perfect????????

Great meet-up place. Very reasonable prices, for some very Good Mexican food and beverages.

This was our first time at this location. It was a Saturday night, but the restaurant was not packed, and there was no waiting line at the entrance. We were promptly seated - the greeters and the servers were all very nice. We quickly got our food, but after it was delivered, it was about 45 minutes before our waiter came back to our table. It looked like he was serving a lot of tables in the restaurant, but it was not full, so we were a little frustrated about not getting refills, or anything else until we were about ready to go. It was a good thing that the place was not full! I would definitely avoid if there is a line at all. We would come back to try since they were very nice, and the food was very good. Maybe they were just missing some people that did not come to work that day.
