    Nice small chili dive in Fairfax. Popular with locals. Chili served many ways over spaghetti and even served on salads. Would go again.

    The place still stinks of cigarettes. Not sure if it's the patrons or the employees. But yuk. OTHER THAN THAT, the chili is awesome. The beer is awesome. Great place to gather in groups up to six.

    The ideal gold standard Hard Times, as far as the food goes, is the original in Old Town. This is the third location I’ve been to, and thankfully it is way way better than the other one in Springfield. Chili is just as good as the original. Cold Beer, TVs, seems to be well run. Pool tables, friendly atmosphere, separate dining area. Only down side is that it’s regularly filled with courthouse lawyer bros.

    This is my absolute favorite bar. The interior is clean and casual. The drink prices are great for the area and the food is above average for a bar. They're known for their chili but I love the chicken tenders. They're crispy, fresh and delicious. The service is awesome as well.
