Draper's Steak & Seafood

Great service, great food. The place looks nice; a modern look with callbacks to roaring twenties styles. My family went on a weeknight, to celebrate my birthday. I had the dry-aged ribeye (see photo). It was cooked perfectly, and tasted fantastic. The scalloped potatoes were voted favorite side at the table. Overall, a fantastic experience; we'll be coming back to try some more of those entrees.

Had my birthday dinner here. It’s delicious. Both seafood dishes were cooked to perfection. Anyone who knows how to to keep scallops, lobster, shrimp, and rockfish juicy is a pro. Cocktails were well done and the service was good but new - still a bit of training needed. After such an excellent meal it was difficult for the dessert to top it. I think they need to find a pastry chef. Overall, despite the growing pains, I’d go there again. Also, they are open to feedback which means they know they have potential and are striving to be the best in the culinary scene.

Great staff, the menu is well composed, the proteins are cooked perfectly all three times I've been here. Only thing that needs to improve are the sides and veg. Better pairings of sides and letting the veggie shine would make it even better. Great place and great food. True upscale local in Fairfax city.

My wife and I really enjoyed our evening dinner; not only because the food was really good, but the experience was fantastic! Our waiter, Daryl, was top notch....he is really good at what he does. He set the tone for the evening and put us in a good mood with his pleasant and sincere personality. It's a great place for a nice evening dinner and the atmosphere was relaxing. Daryl was also relaxing and very engaging; thank you Daryl for a fantastic dinner experience....Draper's is lucky to have you with them!
