The service was very kind and generous! I'm not usually the biggest fan of Chinese food, but this was the best I've had by far. Everything was flavorful and fresh, I recommend this place if you want flavor!
Food’s great! I don’t understand why some people give them bad comments, but my experience was quite amazing. The chive and egg plant we had were especially authentic, as delicious as what I can get from home. The service is also great, our waitress was very nice and attentive. They also are actively looking for feedbacks and ways they can improve further.
Service was polite and friendly. The food was delicious! There wasn't a dish we didn't like. The small plate style menu made it convenient to try a variety of different dishes.
Last time I had authentic lamb skewers like these was years ago while living in South Korea. They were char-grilled and seasoned perfectly with cumin and red pepper. They came with a dry spice to dip them in -- the proper way to eat them.
The double-cooked pork slices were perfect -- less sour and more sweet than it's typically served. But, they were nice and crisply fried, with plenty of chewy glutinous rice coating.
The hot and sour noodles were really nice -- spicy, lots of garlic, lots of Chinese peppercorns (love the numbing, tingly feeling), and plenty of cilantro.
The eggplant was also really nice. The seasoning was perfect -- a slightly spicy, garlicky topping. It didn't seem barbecued as much as steamed and then seasoned, but still a really nice dish at a really nice price.
We will be going back.
Newly opened restaurant. The design is very impressive. I like it. The spicy bullfrog pot is very tasty but the portion is fairly small. The lamb kabobs are very small and they look like baked in oven instead of BBQ over the charcoal. The flavor is good though. The fried sweet pork (锅包肉）is not up to my standard. I had authentic one in China. This is just sweet and without flavor. The hot spicy octopus with too much of sticky hot and sweet sauce. The service is pretty good. I think they need to improve their dishes. Maybe I will come back to try again.
