Cafe Kindred & Townshend Bar

Cannot believe I have not reviewed these guys on Google before. This is my favourite place in Falls Church and the perfect hangout with great music, warm and cozy atmosphere, good coffee and lovely food. Gary, Jen and Kat are always so welcoming and friendly and I have killed quite a few hours here. Their brunches are fabulous although they do get very busy at the weekend but if you are happy to hang around you will soon get a seat. Great to support the independant businesses and especailly ones that give you a home from home.

What a cool local cafe, much needed in the neighborhood. I love the lack of laptops. Breakfast/brunch is delicious--the spinach-egg sandwich and pancakes especially. Fantastic coffee and cappuccino, and the croissants are top notch. Kid friendly, though it does get crowded if you get there later.

I love Cafe Kindred! They serve delicious coffee and espresso. Great for breakfast and lunch. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff!

Cafe Kindred and Townshend Bar is the best around.

As soon as I walked in I felt the vibe. When they say it's "laid-back" their not kidding. The music, decor, people who serve, and even the no laptop policy after 5:00pm or on the weekends helps ensure this is the place to come to unwind for a pick me up and chat with friends.

Atmosphere aside, the food and coffee is amazing. Highly recommend the Cold Brew coffee and Pastrami sandwich. If you like something sweet their Brownie and French Toast is where its at--delicious!

Whether you are near Falls Church or want to make a trip to get amazing food/drinks and unwind, Cafe Kindred and Townshend Bar is the place to go!

This is a cute little place at falls church for good coffee and English breakfast! Staff are always friendly. Tables at the front get taken fast but you can still order the same food and drinks at the bar in the back. They use beans from Vigilante and offers flat white. Whenever we have a craving for English breakfast we would come here. Heinz beans can't be beat!
