Outstanding sushi, best in the area. Great service, fairly stark environs in a small unassuming space. They know what they are doing.

Amazing sushi. One of my favorite places to go when visiting the area. It’s a smaller spot, with just a few tables and not much parking.

This is certainly the best sushi in northern Virginia. The selection is excellent, super-fresh, and the preparation expert. Creative use of flavors on the specials, and the rolls are truly Japanese in execution and flavor (mostly, I think there is a California Roll). Good, fairly priced selection of sake, and a selection of hot teas.

Can’t believe it took me a year to try this place. Freshest sushi I’ve ever had in the DC area, wonderfully friendly and welcoming owner/chef, great service, cozy atmosphere and reasonably priced. Every single person I overheard leaving thanked the Chef for the experience, exclaiming with wonder how amazing the food was and that they will certainly come again soon. I made plans to return with friends next week after my first 2 pieces.

This is a very nice sushi place with limited seating. Very high quality fish for sushi and nice original rolls that aren't too gimmicky. Chef is clearly filling a niche for excellent quality and authentic sushi without crazy dragon rolls or other pretense. Mom tried uni here for the first time (I haven't seen it on any menu at other local shops) and liked it so chef has my complete respect for his selections.
