Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot

In case you don't know how a hot pot place works, I'll explain. You order the type of broth you want and the food options. Then you are brought raw food which you cook in the boiling broth. It is served family style. I went here with 3 friends and had a great time. It is a really fun group activity. We ordered a lot of different foods and two broth types. The spicy broth is spicy if you don't like spicy, but not too bad if you like spicy stuff. The wait staff was good and we were taken care of. Also I felt our bill was reasonable for how much stuff we ordered; we ordered quite a few seafood and beef options.

The broth at this place was amazing. The mushroom combo and tofu combo is huge for under 10 bucks each. My only problem with this place is there is no place to make your own sauce. One of the great things about hot pot is you get to make your own sauce. But this place didn't have the sauce bar that most hot pot places have. They bring out some of the ingredients like chili oil but it's not the same.

I'm impressed. There is a wait. But... They produce two broths that initial start as "OK", but as you add various vegetables, meats and seafood, changes dramatically. It becomes rich, extremely flavorful and if you don't do the dual broth, you'll be missing out. Another thing that's nice here, they are extremely clean and ordered.

Slightly long waiting time but it also means how popular this place is.

Attentive and friendly staff around - will help you refill the soup broth when they see your broth level is dipping. Most importantly, great food portion for the price! A heartwarming (both mentally and physically) meal during winter!

Delicious warming food. The wait staff helped us pick the right amount of food for our first experience. We got a variety of foods to include meat, tofu, veggies and mushrooms. The mushrooms and lettuce were surprisingly delicious. They wilted but retained a pleasant crunch.

I think the staff could do a better job of keeping the place clean. The bathroom was a mess and I saw several unclean tables and we had to really work to get attention to order. That’s why it’s not a 5.

Definitely a fun, delicious and interactive experience.
