Cha Oc Gia Huy

Have been to Eden Center a few times and just came across this place. All I can say is I will definitely be back. Friendly staff and great food, can’t ask for much more! There was a lot of stuff I hadn’t tried before and I really enjoyed everything. The Cha Oc and Nem Chua we’re both great, and I loved the weekend special herbal tea and I’m not normally a tea drinker. If you’re not sure what to get talk to the staff, they couldn’t be nicer!

Cha Oc Gia Huy is a great addition to the Eden Center! I noticed this new place when I was walking through the shopping center, and the delicious smells and window display drew me inside. The staff was extremely patient and helpful, taking the time to explain their menu items, and making recommendations based on what I was interested in. My favorite was the Nem Chua (cured pork), which is extremely flavorful and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. They mentioned that the Cha Oc (escargot sausage) was their specialty, so I had to give that a try as well and it certainly did not disappoint. It had a great soft and crunchy texture, and I believe I tasted some lemongrass and ginger in there. They also mentioned that they offer a special herbal tea every weekend that I believe is infused with lemongrass, cinnamon, dates, ginger, and licorice among other things, so I’ll have to make sure I come back during the weekend to try that and stock up on some more Nem Chua and Cha Oc! I’m running dangerously low. Great prices, friendly faces, and delicious food. Highly recommend!
