We ate there Friday and Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. Got there a bit later on Saturday and we had to wait for a table and then, once our order was taken, the wait was very long. We had no wait on Friday. On Saturday a couple people cancelled their order and left because it was taking so long to get their food. The crowd was due in part to the Bluegrass festival going on at Chantilly Farms and a large takeout order. I don't think the kitchen is very big. The food is good, it's clean with a very welcoming and warm decor. I got the short stack and couldn't eat them all. My husband got the Farmer's Breakfast and a side order of home fries. The home fries were like over cooked potato chips but everything else was very good with big portions. The water is excellent! No, seriously, it is. You should try it, just don't be in a hurry.
Couldn't beat the breakfast. Even somewhat busy, we were served quickly, coffee kept full, and food was top notch. They nail over medium eggs, something EVERYONE struggles with. Gravy and biscuits were amazing. My wife had their version of eggs Benedict, and they were an awesome take, and in fact better than standard eggs Benedict. Definitely will come back.
Good things: big mugs for coffee or tea, very good meatloaf special. Ordinary mashed potatoes. Sort of weird Eggs Benedict, with country ham, and hollandaise on the side that was so so at best - and cold. We would go again however and try other dishes.
